Your polling place is the Village Hall (former Town Hall), W3275 Country Road TW, Mayville. Photo ID is required to vote.
You may register to vote, change your name or address, or apply for Absentee Voting on the My Vote Wisconsin website. Proof of Residence is required for registering and changes of name or address. Photo ID is required for Absentee Voting.
You may also register to vote, change your name or address on Election Day. Proof of Residence is required.

2024 Election Dates
November 5, 2024 – General Elections are held in EVEN years
- Every four years for President and Vice President of the United States (2020, 2024 …)
- Every four years for Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin (2022, 2026 ...)
February - the 3rd Tuesday – Statewide Nonpartisan Primary for the April Spring Election (no election 2024)
April - the 1st Tuesday – Spring Election for Judges and Local Races
- Non-partisan races: County Board, town/village/city, school district, state superintendent of public instruction, WI justice of supreme court, WI justice of court of appeals. EXCEPT when Presidential Preference is added during Presidential election years.
August - the 2nd Tuesday – Partisan Primary for the November General Election
- The Partisan Primary election does not elect a candidate to an office. It is an election for the NOMINATION of a candidate to represent a political party in the November General Election.
- Registered voters may vote in only one party's primary. Note that votes cast in any other party will not be counted.

Absentee Voting
Voting absentee by MAIL
Voting by Mail requests close the THURSDAY before the Election.
You can make requests for a calendar year or for a single election in the calendar year.
Note: unless indefinitely confined, these requests must be sent yearly
Please use MyVote to request a ballot by mail
and attach a copy of your WI Drivers License or WI ID if prompted to do so.
OR
Email [email protected] and include the following information:
- Name(s) of the person(s) requesting a mailed ballot
- The address the ballot should be mailed to
- Whether you want ballots automatically sent for the rest of the current year or for a particular election
- Your photo ID (a picture or scan of your unexpired Driver License)
OR
Mail a handwritten/typed request with the information above to

Voting an absentee ballot in person
You may also request and vote an absentee ballot in the clerk's office or other specified location during the days and hours specified for casting an absentee ballot in person.

Photo ID needed to vote
A Photo ID is needed to vote on Election Day and if you're voting via Absentee Ballot.
BRING IT to the BALLOT explains the requirements for Photo ID in order to vote.
CONCERNED that you don't have acceptable ID. You can get a FREE Wisconsin ID card through the DMV.

Proof of Residence to Register
Proof of Residence proves where you live in Wisconsin and is only used when registering to vote (or when you re-register because you moved or changed your name). The registration form DOES ask for your Driver's License or WI ID number, but you do NOT need to show the card to anyone.
